GICLEE PRINTS
About Giclee Prints
Giclee - (pronounced "zhee-klay"), French for "that which is sprayed" or "a spurt of liquid", is the word for the advanced digital fine art process of creating high quality reproductions of original artwork. The giclee process provides superior color accuracy with a projected permanency of 75+ years using archival pigmented inks. Giclee reproductions are printed on archival quality papers and canvas displaying incredible detail nearly perfect to the original. The quality of giclee prints rivals traditional silvernalide and gelatin processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries. The process is NOT mass production; each print is crafted with the highest skill.
